Avatar

Last week, Prof.Harold had angry to us because some of our students were cheated in their blogs. They had just copy and paste from the articles that search from internet. This was very bad. Afterward, Prof. Harold had passed us each person with one piece of book that describing Avatar. He shows us some of the news that investigated and analyze the effects of Avatar had brought to audiences in America and some others countries of the world. The reporters and newscasters had shows some information that some audiences had dead after watching Avatar in 3D movie. They said that after the audiences had watched the movie they felt very depressed because they had confused by the virtual and reality .Some of them had got the heart attacked during watching Avatar and they had die-off inside the cinema. I was shocked after i heard this kind of news and I felt very lucky to myself because i did not effected by the movie . After Prof.Harold had showed us the movie then he opened the Avatar movie. Actually all of us had watched but is fine to watch it again. Actually i quite enjoyed with the environment while watching Avatar because inside the E-theatre was just like cinema. With big screen and air-conditioned room and good speakers means that good sound effected. Unfortunately Prof.Harold just opened the Avatar movie until half and after that he had just closed it because the class hours had ended.

Second Life(SS Galaxy Cruise Ship)

When i first reached to here.In front of me was a huge and beautiful cruise ship. Behind of me was the scene of sun set. There was extremely beautiful. Before i walk to the main door, i saw an instruction wrote that not allow to bring weapons etc. I felt so funny about it because it made like we are in the real life. Inside the ships have many floors and in the living room got a small cruise ship and it look very real in 3d.


i went to 4rd floor and i saw some luxury rooms with spa and all need to paid a lot of money. i have not enough money so i just can rental a small room. Inside my room just got a bed ,dinner table, living room with sofa and television ,and a small balcony too

After that i leave my room and i get myself to the top of the ship. i saw there got swimming pool and some playground over there.I felt the swimming pool was interesting because when i get inside the swimming pool i saw some cartoon of fishes got a bit look like night glow.

Second Life（Straylight)

This is the most beautiful places compare with the others 4 that i had been! i love all the natural beauty of this environment and here got a lot of colorful trees. I love the waterfall and the straylight that came from the sky.It had totally amazed me.



When i first came inside there was a lot of tree around me, and i walked to the bridge and i saw the lake was below the bridge and there have a lot of trees swaying their leaves.
Then i walk around and i saw a rainbow came from the other side so i walked to there . I saw the surrounding of the rainbow was full with the site boards. All of them looked so real.

I saw the garden there have some pink color trees so i walk inside and take a look. I felt here very romantic and hope in future have this kind of places and i can come with my beloved one. heheXD

i love the environment here very much. There have a lot of colorful trees such as japanese trees with color of red and yellow.

This picture shown that i am walking through the bridge. While i am walking through the bridge and suddenly i saw the light came from the other side. So i feel very interested on it so i went to that direction.

The light was so beautiful so i think maybe this is the reason for this place to called Straylight.


i saw the volcano at there too. Trees that surrounds of the volcano had all dead and there have a lot of smoke too.

I saw some white trees that had attracted me. So i just save this picture.

I saw some light came from the lake so i also save this picture down because i like this scene very very much. I also meet a new friend here too. That girl that next to me called Sophia and she is came from US.

Second Life(Kowloon)

This is Kowloon that from Hong Kong in real life. Again, I came here by no one around. It made me felt bored again and i just walked around.Here got quite a lot of restaurants,fitting rooms, Furniture shops and etc. Actually i had lost in here because the places was all look alike and the street was so small.

This picture i had took when i just reached to here. Around me was the shops and the streets was dark made me feel a bit horror. It was totally different with the Hong Kong's drama that i had always watched.

This is the fast food restaurant. If translate from chinese to english ,it called Charlie's fast food restaurant.
When i came to its first floor and i saw a lot of posters are stick on the wall. They look so nice.
This is the other shops..i think..inside got bed and toilets..

I love the toilet because it love so real.After that i went to the panda's shop which stayed infront of this shop.

The first floor of this panda's restaurant have a little small stage. When i stand up to the stage i am automatically changes my post. I can made 3 poses at there and i had saved these pictures.

Second Life(SS Galaxy)

This was the first time i play Second Life online game.Actually i was not that interested on it but because this is our assignment so i have to play it.
After i had registered my account then i start to entered a place. I thought the SS Galaxy is same as the SS Galaxy Cruise Ship that posted by lecturer,so i entered inside. Who know did not have any ship at all. However i had a lot of fun at here. When i came to here, here already is midnight and nobody was here. I try every button to see what my avatar can do and i was surprised that actually she can fly just like superman.
Inside have a lot of things can let us to play. This is the hot air balloon, and when we sit inside of it and we can adjust how height of the hot air balloon to fly.After we reached to the height of the sky that we want then we will drop down automatically.

This is the bumper car, although no people around me , i had played with myself.

I do not know what is this, But i loved this the most, because i can fly with it all around the places, not limited my spaces. It look so realistic.
The sky is turn to morning. I was sat in the circle and just see the changes of the sky。
After that i saw a ship was stopped at the jetty, so i click to sit on it and captured the beautiful of the sun rises.

Lastly i sat on the Life buoy to play with the water.

Week 10

Introduction of second life and Pixar company

Today we having a interesting class with Prof Harold, as he introduce us the world most popular Virtual life server "second life". Its very related to my major Virtual Reality. Human able to have another life inside a virtual world, doing thing they unable to do in their real life.

Second life is an amazing creation of virtual Reality, as it similar to some of the MMORPG, the only different thing between MMORPG is the world was created by the whole world artist, everyone can create their own world and share with people around the world, this is the coolest thing that second life offer. As a Virtual Reality student, second life will be the stage for us to explore our creativity.

Another topic regardless Pixar, well we all know what Pixar doing before this, They have been create a lot of cool animation movie, but what important from this video we watch how their working style. It will be great if we able to work inside the giant company in America, it seen to be fun and work together.

Bird Park trip

This morning i had missed my major class because yesterday night i went to bed very late. I wakeup at 1pm and after that i checked my phone and i saw some messages from my friend and they asked me wheter am i going to the bird park with them. So i only realize today Experiental Studies had a trip. So i quickly changed my clothes and i ran to Stad building from cyberia. Luckily when i reached there the bus just arrived. I went inside the bus with my friend. About 30 minutes then we reached to the KL Bird Park . Which address is 920, Jalan Cenderawasih Taman Tasik Perdana 50420 Kuala Lumpur.

This is the first time i came to here. It was quite challenging for me to went for the bird park for the first time. After we reached there then we need to wait for our ticket and Prof. Harold passed the map to us. This is the bird park's map.

I used my cheap handphone to take this picture so the quality was not that good. After we wore the ticket to our hand then we take the map and went inside from the entrance.

We saw a group of parrots before we open the main door to the bird park. They looks so cute but they don't let us to touch them..haizzz

After that i saw the Hornbill inside the cage. It was big!

i also saw a lot of birds such as parrots,ostrich,emu,eagles,chickens,peacock,ducks and others.

The bird park was so weird,they did not closed the peakcocks inside the cage , because when i walk to many places i also can see peacock all around me.

This Bird park was very huge, inside got a lot of places and theme park. We had almost went all of the places, such as the Hornbill Park, World of Parrots ,Oriental Bird Aviaries, Brahminy Land, Bul Bul Land,Flamingo Pond, Bird Gallery, Amphitheater and Waterfall Aviary. The Hornbill Park have a lot of hornbills birds, they are big and their noice are very loud. I went to the Nursery with my friend. Actually there just a small place but i had a lot of fun at there. There have cute little duck and chicks inside the things that look like aquarium.We can touch and feel the chicks and baby duck. We had catch them to take a lot of pictures.The other interested places is the Amphitheater, There actually is the bird show. I saw the workers was work with the parrots very well. The parrots was so smart to cycle the bike, count the mathematic,recognize the shapes, driving the car toy and many others. In the Bird Gallery have a lot of specimens of the birds and myself and my friend felt very disguisting about it. I also saw the specimen of the eggs. The largest bird's egg was the ostrich's egg. It just smaller than the bowling's ball a little bit. The second once i think is the emu's egg. It was in black color and i felt very weird about it. Actually the emu was a little bit looks like the ostrich and my friend told me today i had missed something. They saw two emu birds was made love in the bird park and i had just missed it...haizzzz

The other interested places was the World of Parrots, the worker just gave me a few of sunflower seeds, then a group of cute little parrots was fly against me. I was so shock because they are quite heavy and they bite my fingers because they thought my fingers is the foods. Until now my fingers still very pain! Anyways i had a lot of fun at there..haha

The Photo Booth always line out with many people and when we go there and see. We saw a lot of different kinds of birds at there, they look like the fake once because they seldom move. When i see it clearly i realize that some of the birds their legs had been tied with the string.
Lastly we gather at the main entrance at 4.30pm. Today, myself and my friends had a lot of fun at there and we had gain a lot of knowledge about the differents kind of birds. In the end , i want to thanks to Prof. Harold because of his generous on sponsor to our tickets. Thanks ya^^

Aesthetic Experience

Last week, Prof. Harold had talk about the aesthetic experience. He had talk about the broadcast media such as television and radio.and.He also shared some example from broadcast media with us such as some performance shows and radio clips. The radio clips that had shared by him was the War of The Worlds. This radio clips was full of noise , sound and music.It was similar like nowadays our radio channels.
Actually it was quite boring during the class started but luckily lasty Prof. Harold share with us some performances dances such as ballet, Rusian Polk ,African Folk ,Jazz and Modern Flamenco. I like the Modern Flamenco because i love their dress and the way they shake their body with the music . After this Prof. Harold showed is some video concert of superstars such as Diana Kali , Johannes ,Madonna and others. This is the first time i watched Madonna sang and danced in the video because actualli i never watched her video before although i knew she is famous. Anyway i loveall her songs that had shared by Prof. Harold such as the Jump and African-Forced. All her shows had a beautiful stage and designed. She looks so sexy and pretty. The African song was so amazing, the ways she sang and the expression sadness of her face had brought out the messages of helpless of poor african people. She had created powerful message by memories of people impressed. After this class had finished, i had realize that actually artist such as actors performers and singers ,they are not just responsible to entataining people ,they also have a missions to be concern to our world and bring out the messages to their supporters.

PETROSAINS

This morning i have Virtual Reality Design 1 class. Actually we should end at 12pm but today our Experiental Studies class have a trip and we be told to gather at Stad Building in 10.45 am. So our class ended earlier than usual. Today i had know a girl from China, her name is Zhang Yang and we are same class together but we never talk with each other before. We had our breadfast together while the class ended and we went to Stad building together and i met my thailand coursemate Mashima, and i accompany her to brought somethings from hostel . While we went back to Stad building most of the students already get inside the bus so we also hurry get ourselves inside the bus too. Around 11.45am we reached to Kuala Lumpur and we followed our leader and go inside the KLCC Twin tower and we take the escalator from 1st level to 4rd level and we finally reached to the Petrosains and we wait for our turn to get inside. Before we get inside the Petrosains,the workers asked us to lineup and he told us all the rules of Petrosains that we need to follow. After that we wait for our turns to sit the cute dark ride to Petrosains. One dark ride can sit 5 persons and myself, Mashima and Zhang Yang sit infront and we felt very excited. During we sit the rider and we can see the rain forest, waterfalls ,sea and corals that design by them and played by using screen．About 8 minutes than we reached to the petrosains. The workers are very polite and they welcome us and describe the things inside the petrosains. There have a lot of cute and interesting technology things we can play. The things that most surprised me is the reflections of the lights and making the illusions of the 3D screen infront of us. It remind me last week while Prof.Harold told us about the Haunted House in Disney Land. The 'ghost' actually is made by the reflections of the light, actual things actually hided below the reflections of the 3D screen. There also have Helicopter Flight Simulator and Oil Platform . It took us to simulate ride on a helicopter as go through storm and land on an oil platform. The ride is as real as the actual ride on a helicopter it amazed me a lot. I and my friends very enjoyed it and we had a lot of fun.
We gathered infront of Maybank at 3.30pm after our lunch. Then we went to Aquarium which next to KLCC twin tower.After we get the ticket then we entered aquarium KLCC, we saw the forests with streams of rivers flowing down the mountains. The tropical rainforest of Malaysia is featured there and we saw the jungle animals . When we get to Jungle of Malaysia and we heard the typical sound. The Flooded Forest shows the ecosystems where trees, plants and sea creatures co-exists in harmony with nature. The coast has the typical mangrove plants where crabs, prawns, mud-skippers and monkeys abound. We had the experience in the touch pool for touch the sea creatures .It was fun but after that our hands smells terrible, maybe because of the water or the fish. I saw a lot of big sharks at aquarium and jelly fish. I love the jelly fish because it looks so beautiful with the lights of the aquarium.
After finished our aquaria journey then we need to go back by bus again. Today me and my friends had a lot of fun. We get a lot of information of science and technology during Pertrosains and we can see a lot of sea creatures and the marine ecology at Aquaria. There the wonderfull journey i never try before!

Disney

Today, i went to E-theatre at 2pm, but no one at there, i thought i went to wrong class so i went to DR3007 with my friend Machima,but again i still can't see anyone there. So i want to try the last time.i decided to went back E-theatre again, and this time i saw another coursemates, so we just find a place to sit down. After few minutes i saw Prof.Harold came inside,and he saw just a bit students and he a bit upset because mostly of student are being late to class.Time is very important to everyone, so we should not wasted others people's time to wait for you. As a students, we should know every classes are very important, lecturers would not because of you being late to class and then repeat anythings that u had missed.That was not fair to students who come early to the class. This is what i had learned before our class started.
Today. Prof. Harold talks about Disney Land.He showed the slides and pictures of Disney Land from all the world.There are actually have Disney worlds in 4 countries. Which are North America (California and Florida),France (outside paris),Japan (outside Tokyo) and Hong Kong.

Prof.Harold also had showed us the video that he had took while visited Disney land with his family. I very enjoyed while watching the video and my heart was beating very fast especially when i watching the video of sitting inside the roller coaster, it looks so real and i had imagine myself really sat inside it. After finished showing all the slides then Prof.Harold shows us the movies that Walt Disney how to planed the distribution of Disney Land and the process of engineers and the professionals design and making the high technologies for Disney Land. I felt very amazing for their efford and their works. Especially the dinosaur which can pulls the things behind. It looks so real!! Although the class had finished , we still don't want to leave because all of us was attracted by the movies. Finally we watched the movies until the end. After today class, i have a desire for visit the Disney Land in my future. SO, I HAVE TO SAVE　MONEY FROM NOW! Special thanks for Prof. Harold share with us all the information and his adventure from Disney Land.

week 2

On the second week, the class was held at the E-theatre because the old class cannot fit all the experiental studies student that reach 52 student. Its the 2nd time i was in the e-theatre. the place was so big. i am so comfortable there. With the airconditoner, big screen, and big speakers also, In this class, lecturers talk about information source, transmission conditions, responding receivers and alot more.

I-MAX Trip

Yesterday morning, our class leader told us to wait at the Stad building of MMU at 3pm, so at 2.50pm i already started wait at there but unfortunately all the buses was being late. After 40 minutes they only reached. So i followed my classmates and get myself inside the bus.

After 30 minutes i think,then we reached to Times Square. We been told to gather in 10th floor of I-MAX cinema in Times Square at 6pm because our I-MAX movie will started at 6.30pm. Afterward then all of us were walk separately. I walked alone during these 3 hours before the time we been told to gather at 10th floor. Luckily Times Square is a shopping mall which sells a lot of cheaper clothes. I feel comfortable although i walked alone cause i just concentrate on shopping . During these 3 hours i had visited all the shops that selling clothes and i kept comparing the prices from 1 shop to another shops only decided buy the clothes in which cheapest shop. 3 hours went so fast and actually is not enough for me because i just brought two shorts. At 6 o'clock i press the lift button to went to the 10th floor, who knows the lift at there very weird, it juz have odd number, means i can get into 1st floor,3rd floor,6th floor ,9th floor and 11th floor. so i have to press 9 and after reached the 9th floor i need to take escalator to get myself to 10th floor. When i reached the I-MAX cinema , i saw my coursemates and i got my ticket from Prof.Harold and after that i straight a way go inside the cinema and take my seat. When the movie started i only know actually we are going to watch for the Prince of Persia movie and i already watched it with my friend last week! Before that, i thought we are going to watch the Karate Kids and i feel very upset about it. So the movie just started about 10 minutes then i leave my seat and went to outside for continue my shopping and I had brought my favourite blue jacket .When 8.30pm i faster went back to the cinema but all of them already gone and i felt very nervous because i scare the bus already leave and i need to go back by myself. So i faster took lift and went back to the ground floor that we need to gather while we finished the movie. Luckily when i get there, all of them still waiting for the bus . I had learned a lesson in that day which is we should need to follow others and not to do anything just by ourself, we should have the team spirit and not to be selfish.

Week 1

Today is the first day for Experiental studies 's class. i was shock when i realize that our lecturer was the Prof. Harold . Thats because in our MMU is seldom got foreigner lecturer.Today , he explain to us about the whole program in foundation.
He explain what are we going to do for the whole semester.
He told us we have to write the blog about the class or our experiental's trip because we are
going to have a lot of outing where we going to go to places to study and have some fun.
Lastly, i hope to enjoy the trimester and get a good result in the final exam.
